Your Lake Chelan basecamp

Lake Chelan is a 50-mile, glacier-fed lake on the dry, sunny side of the Cascades. Here's what our guests love most. Ask the assistant for more ideas.

On the water

  • Public beaches and swim areas at Lakeside Park and Don Morse Park in Chelan, and Manson Bay Park on the north shore
  • Boat launches in Chelan and Manson, and room for your trailer in our driveway
  • Rent boats, paddleboards and jet skis in town during the summer

Up-lake to Stehekin

  • The Lady of the Lake ferry runs from Chelan to Stehekin, a remote village reachable only by boat, plane or trail
  • Gateway to North Cascades National Park and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area
  • Book ahead in summer

Wine country

  • Dozens of wineries and tasting rooms around the Lake Chelan wine region
  • Clusters on the south shore near Chelan and around Manson on the north shore
  • Plan a designated driver or book a tour

Town & family fun

  • Downtown Chelan's shops and restaurants, and the Riverwalk Park loop
  • Slidewaters water park above the lake (summer)
